We were delighted to be asked to play at the Concert For Liam in March this year. For those not in the know, Concert For Liam is a concert which raises funds for the Julie Cotton Foundation, in aid of Leukaemia Research. Held on the main stage of Rock City, Nottingham, the day featured 9 top bands and also acoustic sets as well. The whole event was filmed for a DVD and we are pleased to be able to share the live footage of Skeleton Crew with you!
If This Is It
Soul
I Know Your Name
How Come I'm Never Around
All Or Nothing
We'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone that bought tickets to make this a very special and memorable day.

Recording Update
Its been a while since anything was added to this page, so here's a brief rundown of what been 'appening.
We have started recording our first album in early December. We had been very kindly offered quite a large sum of money to go into a studio and record and there was also talk of a deal of sorts to get it out into the ether. After much discussion, we agreed to stump a little cash, beg and borrow what we couldn't afford and do the recording ourselves, and then make it available directly, online and via download. We are keeping a blog of the whole recording process which you can find here http://skeletoncrewrecordings.blogspot.com
So far the tracklisting will be as follows: My Life My Rules, Bring It On, Tempting Fate, Soul, World Turns Upside Down, Driving Me Crazy, If This Is It, I Know Your Name, All or Nothing and How Come I'm Never Around
There is no release date set at the moment but the single will be out in Feb and the hope is to have the album out when we start gigging again in March (ish). Til then, the live album is still available.
Many of you who have been to see the band will already know a lot of these songs; demos of if This Is It, My Life My Rules and Bring It On were the first tracks we ever put on our myspace page. I will be nice to have definitive versions finally recorded, although the Live album versions are ones we are proud of. We will be releasing a single, How Come I'm Never Around, which is a first because its a song we have never played live.
Our plan to record this by ourselves may sound like a strange idea to anyone who thinks that the glory days of being in a rock band is all about someone else giving you great big wad of cash and paying for everything and not having to do anything for yourselves, but in the real world thing work a little differently. If someone gives you cash, then you owe them, simple as that. If a record company releases your CD, then you may receive about a tenth of the sale price, once you have paid back what you owe. At our level, we would have ended up in a studio where all eyes are on the clock and all faith is placed in an engineer who may or may not understand what you want to achieve and may have his or her own ideas on what you need to sound like.
So for all these reasons we are doing this all ourselves. What we make from sales, we keep. What we want it to sound like, it sounds like....
Go out an get yourself something nice ...
